How To Create a WorkBook Template Using The BEx Analyzer

Today you will learn how to create a workbook template using BEX Analyzer in SAP BW. The BEX Analyzer in using an EXCEL template and that’s why it can also use Visual Basic script to enhance the performance or add Visual Basic functions to the workbook.
The workbook in SAP BW will be used to place the Query, so we will be inserting the Query into the workbook.
Now follow these steps to start creating workbook in SAP BW.
Step 1: Starting the BEx Analyzer
1. Go To Business Explorer -> RRMX – Analyzer
OR Execute tcode RRMX.
2. Choose File -> New OR click New icon on the toobar.

3. Choose Tool -> Options. Go To View Tab.
Unchecked Gridlines, Row & column headers, Outline symbols, Zero values, horizontal Scroll bar, and Vertical scroll bar. Do not deselect the Sheet tabs.

3. Go To View -> Toolbars, and Deselect the Standard and formatting toolbar.

4. Now Choose File -> Save As
5. In Save as Type, choose Template (*.xlt)
6. Click on Save.
