How To Input Customer Down Payment in SAP FI Module

This transaction is use to receive/input the customer down payment in SAP.
How to access the menu:
Standard Menu Path: Accounting -> Financial Accounting -> Account Receivable -> Document Entry -> Down Payment
How to access using TCODE:
F-29
The entry process to input customer down payment:

M: Mandatory, O: Optional.
1. Document Date: The invoice document date. (M)
2. Posting Date: System input date. (M)
3. Document Type: The document type date. (M)
4. Period: Posting Period from the posting date. (M)
5. Reference: Additional information. (M)
6. Doc Header Text: Additional information. (M)
7. Company Code: The company code in SAP. (M)
8. Currency: The currency used in the transaction. (M)
9. Rate: The currency rate used. (O)
10.Customer Account: The customer master data number. (M)
11. Trg.sp.G/L ind: The special GL indicator for the transaction, select “A” for down payment. (M)
12. Bank Account: The bank GL account number that is use to receive the down payment. (M)
13. Amount: the down payment amount. (M)
14. Value Date: The down payment date. (M)
15. Text: The cash flow code that is use in this transaction. (M)
16. Business area: The branch or business area code. (M)
Click “Request” Button after you’ve filled all the required data.
Now choose the down payment document, after that click “Create Down Payment” button.
Below is the post customer down payment display where you can see the data simulation of the down payment journal posting that will be saved into the SAP.

Click Save (CTRL+S) to save the down payment.
